Video upscaling is impressive and surround sound with subwoofer turns your home into a wonderful theatrical experience. Built in internet capabilities work as expected and the bonus is the built in preamp that can be used by a turntable. Yes, I need that for my old yet valuable turntable as I have not given up on my vinyl. Automated speaker adjustments are quick and easy to use. I had no problem adding basic remote functions for this receiver to my DirecTV remote, which is a real plus!
